Louie is a Yorkie mix. He was abandoned by his family. Louie spent 9 days alone in an apartment until he was discovered.

Probably due to being left behind & alone for 9 days, Louie could use some socialization!

In general I’d consider him very energetic. He’s curious about his surroundings and he loves to go on walks. More than anything though he wants to be in your lap. When I’m working he mostly lies right next to me. In the evening he lies on my lap while we watch TV.

He definitely has had some behavior training as he does understand “sit”, knows how to fetch and aside from a couple instances (my fault) is very much house broken.

He is crate trained ; he will whine if I leave the room or when it’s bedtime but only briefly.

He does show signs of defensiveness regarding his food/toys/space. He startled easily and has growled and snarled but never once nipped at myself or my cat.

WE ONLY ADOPT WITHIN A 4 HOUR RADIUS OF LOUISVILLE/LEXINGTON KENTUCKY and TENNESSEE AREAS. WE WANT TO HAVE ACCESS TO DOG IF NEEDED.

All dogs will be spayed/neutered, up to date on all vaccinations, heart worm tested, wormed, micro-chipped and will have had 1 month of heart worm preventative, and 1 month of flea preventative before adoption.
