Tobi
Tobi is a 10 year old, 12.5lbs Shih Tzu. Due to previous conditions; Tobi has been very neglected and has had fairly severe skin issues which are well on the mend.
Despite his age; Tobi is very spry and energetic; he is alert and interested in what’s going on around him but very much enjoys relaxing with his person.
Tobi seems to do well with other animals but with cats he may be too aggressive trying to play. Several trips to the park have revealed his interested of other dogs but not aggressive or territorial at all.
Tobi enjoys chew toys and this is the only time he’s shown any defensiveness; as he does not like having toys or treats taken away. He will show sign of mild anxiety as he just wants to be with his person.
Tobi is not crate trained and does bark/whine if confined. He is housebroken and has done very well for long periods without incident once he’s comfortable. He has had two accidents in the house; but these were my fault for not being familiar with his routine or paying attention to his pacing.
Tobi is a very sweet and has had a rough go of it but in spite of that he has come out the other side a very well adjusted senior boy.
WE ONLY ADOPT WITHIN A 4 HOUR RADIUS OF LOUISVILLE/LEXINGTON KENTUCKY and TENNESSEE AREAS. WE WANT TO HAVE ACCESS TO DOG IF NEEDED.
All dogs will be spayed/neutered, up to date on all vaccinations, heart worm tested, wormed, micro-chipped and will have had 1 month of heart worm preventative, and 1 month of flea preventative before adoption.
